Our Story – How Bill’s Brocante Began
Tony’s passion for buying and selling vintage treasures began long before we made the move to France.
Over the years, we spent many a family holiday travelling through the French countryside, exploring brocantes, rummaging through vide-greniers and hunting for vintage and nostalgic finds. There was always the excitement of discovering something unusual, uncovering a little piece of history, or finding an overlooked treasure just waiting for a new home.
When we finally moved to France and found ourselves with an unused barn, opening our very own brocante seemed like the obvious thing to do!
And the name? Bill’s Brocante is named after our son, Billy, making it very much a family affair.
Today, our barn is home to an ever-changing collection of vintage finds, antiques and curious treasures, bringing together our love of old things, French culture and the thrill of finding something special.
